Starting Your Career?

Begin your career with the industry’s leading service company, Bale-Tec Services!

Step 1

Start Your Apprenticeship

New apprentices receive hands-on training in welding, and/or millwrighting by our ticketed Journeymen, Foremen, and experienced tradespeople. A highschool diploma is required. Trade certifications and previous experience are welcome.

Step 2

Receive Your Trade Education

Upon completion of the first year of your apprenticeship (approximately 2,000 hours), Bale-Tec will support you as you enroll in a trade school for two months. This annual process, work and school, will recur until you have completed the hours required by the apprenticeship program to write your exam.

Step 3

Take the Exam

Upon completing your last session of school and the total mandatory hours (completion times usually range from three to five years), you will be eligible to write your exam. Upon the success of your exam, you will be considered a Journeyman.
